New year but still the same me…

Hey everyone! Wow, are we really in 2017? A very belated happy new year to you all!

It’s been a while eh? The last time I wrote anything on here was in November 2016. Which would now be called ‘last year’. Wow.

Well, here’s a quick update on what I’ve been up to:

-I went back to the U.K. to stay with family and it was a great trip but I left Atteeq back in Dubai so it was great to be home actually. I actually felt like I was HOME when I got back to Dubai which was a nice feeling. I guess it’s true what they say. Home really is where your heart is. *cheese alert*

-I went to the Boxing Day sales and realised very quickly that they aren’t what they used to be.  £3 off a dress…WHY THANKS ZARA, GREAT SALE!

-I dropped my phone in the U.K., cracked the screen and then did something to something called a ‘motherboard’ resulting in me being without a properly functioning phone for about a week.

-I had to buy a new phone this weekend. I now own an iPhone7+ and it’s literally the exact same as my last phone but no cracked screen.

-I spent 120AED (£20) on a glass screen protector thingy so my screen never cracks again.

-I’ve been feeling uninspired to write.

That’s it really, to be perfectly honest. There’s a lot I want to say but for once, it doesn’t come out the way it sounds in my head? We all go through these phases I guess. Those of us who write anyway. I hope to write more regularly, my aim is once a week but let’s not promise anything. I’m not one for New Years resolutions. I did have this big plan of doing a post about the year that was 2016 but then life happened and well my plan didn’t.

While I was in the U.K. I mainly stayed at home being cosy in front of the heater and didn’t really do that much but I did go out and shoot some new stuff with my wee brother. We had so much fun! Check out his Instagram page: @kidandthecamera

Bonnie Scotland eh? It never does fail to disappoint. Just to clarify, we went and shot these pictures around 1pm when all dogs were sleeping in their homes. I remember one time we went to this same woodland at prime dog walking time and thanks to my dog phobia I nearly ended up in a ditch running like a mad woman from a dog about 10 miles away.

I think there is something so amazing about a sunny day in the height of winter. But, there is something so annoying about that little bit of faux fur that turned up in the wind and I only realised when I looked at the pictures on my camera a few hours later.

You can’t have everything in life can you?

Love,

Miss Mulberry 💕
