Black with a splash of toxic pink.

I’m loving the monochrome recently it seems.

Today’s look!

Top – Concrete Unicorn

Trousers – Mango

Bag – Dorothy Perkins

Sunglasses – Asos

Shoes – New look

Necklace – Souhait by AC (Instagram @souhaitbyac)

I put this look together because I love adding a splash of colour to a black or white outfit! How amazing is that top btw?! Love the ruffle drama! It’s from a lovely lady in Dubai (Saira Noorani) who is working hard to establish her business selling clothes for affordable prices. She delivers worldwide and I’ve heard her pieces are especially popular in Karachi at the moment but the fact that she is Dubai based is totally amazing for me because clothes out here are extortionate. Also her stuff is pretty unique AND isn’t going to require me to remortgage the house we don’t even own yet. Check out her page @concreteunicorn on Instagram as Saira gets new stock in each month if you’re looking for something different and funky!

It’s going to be a short one today because I am so behind on posts so I will just leave you with the pictures in the hope that this look inspires you to create the same! Love as always my lovelies!

Monochrome Outfits on a Budget!

Today I’m going to share these looks with you guys and show you how easily they can be achieved! Let’s be honest, my sister looks WAY cooler than I do but she is way cooler than me anyway so I can deal with it.

My outfit details!

  • Skirt – Asos
  • Bardot bodysuit – Boohoo
  • Choker – Missguided
  • Sunglasses – Asos
  • Watch – Daniel Wellington
  • Cuff – Aldo

Madiha’s outfit details!

  • Wrap blazer – H&M
  • Trousers – Dorothy Perkins
  • Bag – H&M
  • Sunglasses – Rayban
  • Shoes – haven’t a clue!

I put my outfit together by buying things that are all currently in the Asos outlet! I chose a bardot bodysuit instead of a top because I hate it when you tuck tops into skirts/jeans and they leave a bulge. Isn’t that the worst?! The bodysuit totally gets rid of that problem so can’t recommend getting one of these enough. I thought it would feel uncomfortable but it didn’t.

A lot of you asked about the sunglasses I wore with this outfit and I’m glad you liked them! Would you believe me if I said they are currently in the sale for £7? Well, they are and you can thank me later.

I was going to link all the products but Atteeq has got the TV on while I type this and is distracting me so here’s a couple of screenshots of my recent buys – take from it what you wish and just type into the Asos search bar! Hope this helps! Let me know if you end up buying anything the same, would love to see how it looks on you!

I loved this outfit but my husband said it reminded him of 101 Dalmations. MEN!

On that note…adios amigos!

P.S. Just realised I didn’t really give any tips to do with my sisters outfit but I’m sure you girls could easily recreate this one 😆

Blowout&Go Mobile Hair Services

Hair. Us girls spend a lot of time washing it, styling it, taking care of it and let’s be honest; sometimes we even cry over it. Our hair is so personal to us and it takes a lot for us to trust someone to touch it. Tell me it’s not just me who is this dramatic? I’m sure I’m not the only one. Back when I was in the UK I had my hairdresser Natalie since the last goodness knows how many years and only ever went to her for my hair. Despite living in Dubai I still go back to Natalie when I’m in the UK.

After a year of being out here though I’ve realised I need to get over my fear and let someone else style my hair for me because I miss that feeling of leaving a salon and having big, bouncy, freshly blow dried hair. I had been looking for someone to blow dry my hair for a wee while now (still not brave enough to let someone new cut my hair) and found out about Blowout&Go. I used their services alongside my sister a few days ago and thought I would share the experience with you girls!A little bit about Blowout&Go

They are the leading provider of mobile hair and make-up services across Dubai and the UAE. They have a team of professionally trained and qualified hairstylists that will travel directly to your door. This could be your home, your office or even a hotel if you are out here on holiday!

What appealed to me was the fact that Blowout&Go promise the same salon experience with the best styling tools with a professional stylist all from the comfort of your own home. Considering my sister was over and it usually takes her six hours to get ready to set foot outside the front door, I thought it would be better to get our hair done at home rather than us going somewhere. So, I booked us both in to get our hair blow dried the other day and the results were amazing!

This one made me giggle…

How does it work?

There are three main sections on the Blowout&Go website consisting of; B&G Express (Home Service -Hair and Makeup), B&G Pro (Professional Service – Events and Photoshoots) and B&G Shop (Hair and Makeup Products).

If you want to book in to get your hair done then you will need to go into the B&G Express section and it really does stay true to the name because the whole process is super quick! The website is user friendly which is always a bonus eh?

Simply click on the following link and follow the steps starting with which service you want to book.

Book B&G Express

It literally is the quickest thing ever and you will end up with someone coming to your home to do your hair while you lounge around in your pj’s. Score!

Why Blowout&Go?

It’s the easy and convenient option but also because Blowout&Go work closely with leading international brands such as Redken and GHD and will use only the best products and styling tools when working on your mane! It also matters to me that someone who is professionally trained is doing my hair and I knew I was in good hands from start to finish while I was getting my hair done by the lovely Violeta!

Overall, I loved having my hair done in the comfort of my own home listening to my own ridiculous music and ending up with ‘her hair is so big it’s full of secrets’ kind of hair. If you didn’t just realise that this was a Mean Girls quote then what are you even doing on my page?! Just kidding. Kind of.

I put up a tonne of snaps on this day and you guys loved the hair just as much as I did!

After having our hair done my sister and I went for a quick StreetSyle shoot and the pictures turned out really cool if I may say so myself. I will save that shoot for my next blog post but for now here’s a sneak peak at our finished looks.

When you think you’re it and a bit and then realise your choker is flipped inside out in 90% of the photos?! But how awesome does the hair look?!

Before I go, there’s one more thing for my Dubai followers. I have teamed up with the lovely people at Blowout&Go to give you guys a discount on the B&G Shop. If you go on the B&G Shop you will get AED100 off your cart value.

Details on how to avail the code.

Click on:

https://shop.blowoutandgo.com/?ref=395

Discount Code to use at checkout: missmulberry100
Using this code will give you AED100 off the final shopping cart when you have a AED200 minimum cart value. The code is only valid for products, not gift vouchers and is valid till the end of October.

What’s interesting is that Blowout&Go are the ONLY authorised online retailer of GHD products in the UAE so you know your products will be genuine. There are some pretty cool hair products in the online shop such as the Redken Hair Masks so I am really looking forward to trying them out.

Let me know how you get on with booking in your blowdry and also if you end up buying something online!

In other news, my mum and sister were here staying with us for a week but are now away and I have serious ‘post family leaving’ blues. Hoping all these blogposts I have queued up to be posted shall keep me very busy over the next few days though!

Hope you’re all well and dandy wherever you are in the world. If you’re in Dubai…yay for the cooler weather!

Love, as always…
